Antoine Poncet, is a performer and a visual artist. Recent appearances have included the 'Anthology of gibberish" at the MuCEM or Centre Pompidou. 'The Maginot Line' at the Palais de Toyo and the Louvre-Lens, By combining exhibitions and conferences his visual and oral work is a subtle challenge to the canons of art history. His works are a witty commitment for an aesthetic of the incongruous.

The imaginary of the Maginot Line " : In June 2014, at the Louvre-Lens, as part of the exhibition "The Disasters of War" lecture-accessorised an imaginary museum of the phoney war. Louvre-Lens 2014


"For jobless intellectuals " : Studies of overtaxed stamps of french famous artists, edited in the 1930s for young unemployed graduates, written on it  " pour les chômeurs intellectuels ". Paris/Chatou, CNEAI, 2013.


"Nénette & Rintintin" : these World War One lucky charm dolls, also called anti-Gothas fetishes were very popular and odd, a kind of french voodoo. Centre Pompidou-Metz, 2012.


"Tribute to Lavoisier" : reenactment of the inauguration on the very site of the statue, now lost, of the  famous chimist, well-known  for his sentence "Nothing is lost, nothing is created, everything is  transformed". Nuit-Blanche Paris, Place de la Madeleine,  2010.


"The anagram in Morse" : before he created the code, Morse was a painter and a lecturer. Is-it possible to find signs of his code in his painting?  an anagram with the name of Morse written in Morse's painting "The Louvre gallery". Nice,Villa Arson, 2010.


"Murakami's jacket" : Presentation of perforated jacket and photo showing the Gutaï artist Saburo Murakami at his performance in 1956 "tear the paper". Nice, Villa Arson, 2008.
